Today, March 28th, was nationwide DAFFODIL DAY,
an annual fund-raiser for the
IRISH CANCER SOCIETY.
Portlaw, as usual, was not lacking in volunteers, who manned four collection points in the town.
A rota system was in operation, so volunteers changed a number of times during the day.
This series of pictures was taken about 11.30 am.
100% of your donations go to the society. You can read all about it at:
Outside Kiely's Shop
Outside Fogartys' Shop
Outside the Centra Supermarket
Outside Walshes' shop - Bláthanna
Names will be added if I can get them all!
