Curraghmore last Sunday - 7th May 2023

Not much of an example. Some of the many blooming Azaleas in background.

Looks like a Sequoia (Redwood), lots of which I've seen in Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon, John Muir Forest and Yosemite Valley, in California.
Have driven through a hole at the base of one, parked car on top of a fallen one, and seen many on fire!

Plenty of subjects to photograph in Curraghmore gardens.

BLUEBELLS

Bluebells are blooming everywhere these days. Curraghmore gardens were a sight to behold on Sunday last, not alone with Bluebells, but also Azaleas!
Above lot in own garden, where they are spreading like wildfire!
Also, am glad to say our Woodpecker is back sporadically once more, enjoying his visits to the Peanut feeders.

BENCHMARK

Spotted recently on roadside wall apast Clonagam church . . .  and old surveyor's benchmark. Probably over 100 years old with red paint still showing! There are probably lots more around to discover?
