During the afternoon of Friday last, June 26th, bales of hay fell off a trailer
as a tractor turned the corner at the junction of
Carrick Road and Connolly Road.

A short section of wall was demolished.
Fortunately, no one was injured,

W EL C O M E!

F Á I L T E  ~  W E L C O M E !

woman on her bike

A special 'Hello'
to the two ladies from the Netherlands,
Mariette and Willimein,
who passed close by on the 'Bog Road' today,
on a four week cycling holiday, touring the U.K., and
going right around the coast of Ireland, anti-clockwise,
starting at Belfast and ending in Dublin in a few days.
These ladies, who cycle an average of 100 km per day,
are actively involved in Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Leaving Waterford city in two day's time, where they are staying with my daughter, Áine, they will travel through some of
Wexford's and Wicklow's most picturesque areas viz.
New Ross, Bunclody, Tinahely, Aughrim, Ratthdrum, Enniskerry and Glendalough,
before their final stop-over in Dublin.

Both cyclists at Guillamene Cove, Tramore,
before heading off on the Passage-Ballyhack ferry on way to New Ross.

HAPPY CYCLING!
