Looks like a Sequoia (Redwood), lots of which I've seen in Sequoia National Park, Kings Canyon, John Muir Forest and Yosemite Valley, in California.
Have driven through a hole at the base of one, parked car on top of a fallen one, and seen many on fire!
Plenty of subjects to photograph in Curraghmore gardens.
